The Nürburgring 24 Hours doesn’t hand out wins. It rips them from you. It’s a place where engine notes echo through the forest, where legends are made, and where even finishing the race is something to write home about.
But in 2025, BMW and ROWE Racing didn’t just finish… they won, in dramatic fashion, against the biggest names in endurance racing. And for us here at Induction Noise, this one hits especially close to home. The 2025 Nürburgring 24H: One Car, One Shot, One Win
ROWE Racing didn’t bring a fleet to the Nordschleife this year. Just one car. One BMW M4 GT3 EVO, run by ROWE Racing, one of the only racing teams that doesn’t have a manufacturer as the main team sponsor. It’s ROWE partnered with BMW M Motorsport, with four of the hungriest drivers in the business:
Kelvin van der Linde (RSA)
Augusto Farfus (BRA)
Jesse Krohn (FIN)
Raffaele Marciello (SUI)
No backup, no second chances, just one M4, starting from 17th on the grid, against 140 other cars.
And after a weekend of blistering 30°C heat, an electrical blackout, a flipped Aston Martin, and a 100-second penalty handed to the leading Porsche, ROWE’s single-car mission ended on the top step of the podium, in front of 280,000 fans.
It was BMW’s 21st Nürburgring 24H win, and ROWE’s second on the Green Hell, the last one being in 2020 with the M6 GT3.

A South African Behind the Wheel
For us locals, this win means even more. Kelvin van der Linde, who grew up racing in SA and has become a true international ace, was part of this winning lineup. It’s his third Nürburgring win, and his first with BMW.
He also won Bathurst earlier this season with ROWE, and honestly, it feels like we’re watching one of the greats writing his story one lap at a time.
He knows the Nordschleife. He knows endurance. And clearly, he trusts ROWE.
From Nürburgring to Budget Builds: Our Supra Dream
We might not have a GT3 entry (yet), but the Induction Noise Supra is slowly starting to look like something more than a garage project. Built on a budget, with a whole lot of trial, error, and brake dust, we’re hoping to see it line up at a local endurance event someday. Even if it’s just a few hours around a kart track in the middle of nowhere.
And when it does? It’ll be running ROWE oil and TRD heart. Because if it’s good enough to take on the Nürburgring, it’s more than good enough for our humble hero car.
