If you’ve been following our YouTube channel, you know that our MK3 Toyota Supra has become the centerpiece of our content, and for good reason. This isn’t just any build, it’s our attempt to create a enjoyable race car on a strict “lemons” budget, capped at R55,000 (excluding safety gear and our own labor). It’s a challenge that blends creativity, ingenuity, and a lot of late nights in the garage.

The Supra project started as an idea to push ourselves and see how much we could achieve with limited resources. The goal? To turn this classic JDM icon into a versatile machine capable of handling a range of motorsport challenges, from short circuit racing and endurance events to drifting, gymkhana, and even hill climbs. We wanted to prove that you don’t need a massive budget to compete in motorsport just the right mix of determination, community support, and a love for the grind.

Documenting the ups and downs of this build has been as thrilling as the wrenching itself. We’ve faced parts that didn’t fit, unexpected setbacks, and moments of pure triumph when things clicked into place. Every bolt tightened and panel restored is a step towards a bigger goal: making motorsport accessible and relatable. Through this project, we hope to inspire others to chase their automotive dreams, even if the odds seem stacked. We’re proud of every inch of progress on the Supra, and we can’t wait to share the finished car as we test it in various motorsport genres, living up to our ethos of “motorsport for everyone.”
